Update: Voters approved the town budget and wastewater project but rejected $3M for drainage and road repairs to the Woodland Drive area.

MERRIMACK, NH — Voters in Merrimack went to the polls on Tuesday in the town's annual election. Here are the results.

Town Races

Article 2: $10.1 million for wastewater treatment upgrades. Approved

Article 3, petition: $3 million for drainage and road repairs to the Woodland Drive area. Rejected

Article 4: $36.2 million town operating budget with a default budget of $34.4 million. Approved

Article 5: $1.95 million to the capital reserve-expendable trust fund for equipment and other repairs not included in the town budget. Approved

Article 6: $500,000 for sewer infrastructure and capital reserve fund. Approved

Article 7: Collective bargaining agreement for two years of wage increases for the Teamster Local 633 for DPW and other workers. Approved

Article 8: Charter amendment to appoint two alternative members for 1-year terms to the Trustee of the Trust Funds. Approved

Article 6: $1.4 million for a roof replacement project on the Thorntons Ferry Elementary School. Approved

Article 7: Retain year-end unassigned general funds of any fiscal year not to exceed 5 percent of the current fiscal year’s net assessment. Approved

Article 8: $83.4 million operating budget with a default budget of $83.2 million. Approved
