Merrimack 7th-Grader Scores Perfect Math SAT

The Nashua teen is a student at the Academy for Science and Design.

A 13-year-old Nashua girl who is a first-year student at Merrimack's recently scored a perfect 800 on the math portion of the SATs, according to a story today in the Nashua Telegraph.

Nisha Devasia, a seventh-grader at the charter school, told the Telegraph she enjoys the subject because “There’s always an answer in math.”

Devasia took the test through the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth program and overall, scored a 2,100. She was only 12 when she took the test.
