Merrimack Bus Crash Sends Two Students to the Hospital
Breaking: A car rear-ended a school bus on the Daniel Webster Highway this afternoon.
MERRIMACK, NH — A bus carrying both high school and middle school students was rear-ended by another vehicle on the Daniel Webster Highway on Feb. 8, 2017, according to a report online. Several students, according to Jeffrey Hastings of Frame of Mind Photography, were shaken up and two were transported to the hospital. The driver of the car was also reportedly injured by refused transportation.
The vehicles – Hasting noted – were traveling north. The car was leaking gas after the accident.
Another bus was sent to the scene to transport the students home. Parents also showed up to assist in taking their children home, according to Hastings.
