Merrimack Business Association joins Merrimack Patch

The Merrimack Business Association- a non profit organization, made up of  diverse Merrimack business people will be writing a semi regular blog posting items of interest to business owners and those who would like to start a business.

The Association which has been in existence and registered with the NH Secretary of State since 2010 was formed to improve the Merrimack business climate and to help existing small businesses as it pertains to start up,  marketing, networking, profit and dealing with government bureaucracy. Our primary focus the past few years has been working with individuals who were  interested in starting a business but weren't sure how to go about it. We have also worked with existing businesses in brainstorming ideas and giving them the benefit of our years of experience in the building, real estate, transportation, computer, plastics and apparel industries, to name a few.

After spending a few years working with companies one on one  we are expanding our organization's scope to also focus on collaboration, networking  and, brainstorming  groups of businesses, as opposed to just working one on one.

There is a place in greater Merrimack for a business association  focused soley on promoting and advocating business in the immediate Merrimack area.

All business owners have positive and negative experiences that can help other businesses, if they are put in position to share them, and we hope that others will join us in sharing ideas and experiences as well as mentoring while working  together to better the  local business community.

We are willing to work with any area business who seeks our help.

Next week we will do a blog on "Writing a business plan"

See you then
