Merrimack Friends and Families Donates Charitable Funds
The org has donated $4,130 to the Merrimack Parks and Recreation, Big Brothers Big Sisters of NH, and the dog park effort.
Merrimack Friends and Families, a social and service organization, has made $4,130 in donations back into the town. Donations were made to Merrimack Parks & Recreation for summer camp scholarships, to the St. James and St. John Neumann’s food pantries, and to Big Brothers Big Sisters of NH to assist a Merrimack child. MFF also purchased a small sponsorship package for the pending Dog Park.
“MFF’s first priority is to give back to the community. It prides us to donate this money back into this town that we love very much. We only wish we could do more,” said Jill Mitchell, former President of Merrimack Friends & Families.
Though it may seem minimal, a great deal of effort went into raising this money. From bake sales to yard sales, and everything in between, MFF club members do whatever they can to support the town of Merrimack.

A registered 501c3, MFF has a two-part focus as both a social and a service organization, offering a way for women and their families to get involved in the community AND to have fun! Merrimack Friends & Families was organized as the Newcomer’s Club of Merrimack on November 15, 1973. The name was changed to the Welcome Wagon Club of Merrimack, and then changed again to Merrimack Friends & Families in 1998. Membership is open to all residents of Southern New Hampshire.
