Merrimack Friends and Families host photo-race fundraiser on MAY 14, 2016

Merrimack Friends and Families invites you to join us for a special fun-raising event on Saturday May 14th. We are hosting a Photo-Race for the community.

We will give you a list of objects to photograph in Merrimack and a time-limit. You use your cell phone/camera with your friends and photograph the objects that you will present for judging. Groups will consist of no less than 3 people but no more than 4, and you will take photos of your group with the objects on the list. The first group back with the most eligible photos before you run out of time will win.

The registration fee is $20 with 50% going towards cash prizes and 50% to our charitable fund*.

DETAILS:

Goal of the game is to be the first group back by the time-limit with the most eligible photos or selfies, taken of objects/destinations in Merrimack, assigned by

-groups will consist of no less than three, and no more than four members

-registration fee: $20 per group

-all photos entered per group for judging must be on the same cell phone with ALL members of the group in the photo with the assigned objects (selfies) OR all photos entered per group for judging must be on the same cell phone/camera, taken by the same person in the group, of ALL the other group members and the object

-registration will begin at 1pm at the pavilion in Watson Park, Merrimack

-rules and objects packets will be distributed at 1:20pm allowing for a 10 minute question and answer period (examples of objects are: a maple tree, a gravestone, a street sign)

-the race will begin at 1:30pm at the pavilion in Watson Park, Merrimack

-the group back before 2:30pm with the most eligible photos will win

-special awards will be given for unique or creative photos of the group and objects

-all photos must contain an image of the assigned item plus members of the group

-drivers must be qualified NH licensed

-any arrest during the race will be an automatic disqualification for the group

-observe NO TRESPASSING signs

-respect our neighbors’ property and privacy

While we call this a race, and time is important, we want to remind you to make safety first as the MFF will not be responsible for any loss or damage to personal property or injury while participating in this event.

*In the past, the MFF has supported these and other local organizations with funds raised through our charitable fund: Parks and Recreation, sending Merrimack children to Naticook Summer Day Camp, children's programs at the Merrimack Library, Merrimack food pantries, Merrimack Dog Park, & pairing up Merrimack children with the Big Brothers Big Sisters of NH mentoring program.
