Merrimack High School Top 10 For 2026: Amy Campbell, No. 5

National Honor Society clerk Campbell will study Medical Lab Science at Marist University and hopes to work as a hospital lab technician.

MERRIMACK, NH — Amy is honored to be part of the Merrimack High School Top 10 for the Class of 2026.

She would like to thank her family, friends, teachers, and mentors who have provided their unconditional support throughout her life and made her the person she is today.

In high school, she took a course load that challenged her and expanded her knowledge, creating immense personal growth. She particularly enjoyed her math and science courses, some of her favorites being AP Biology, chemistry, and her biotechnology CTE class.

Outside of school, Amy dedicates herself to many different art forms. She has been dancing with Broadway Bound Performing Arts Center since the age of four, taking various different styles of dance classes, and getting the opportunity to perform in the community, at competitions, and in recitals. She has also been a trumpet player in the Merrimack High School band for all four years, and played trumpet at the 2026 NHMEA Allstate Music Festival.

Additionally, Amy serves as the vice president for Merrimack High School Theatre where she has been a cast member for six plays and musicals, her favorite role being Marmee in Little Women. She is filled with gratitude for all of the friends and memories she has made through these activities.

Amy devotes herself to the community through Girl Scouts and her church. She completed her Girl Scout Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards, opportunities for which she is very grateful and have brought her closer to her community. Amy is an active member of her church youth group, where she enjoys volunteering at the food pantry and monthly Ham & Bean Suppers. She greatly values all of the connections she made by volunteering in her town.

Amy serves as the clerk for the National Honors Society, vice president for the French Honors Society, and member of the Math, Science, and Dance Arts Honors Societies.

Next year, Amy will continue pursuing her passion for the sciences by studying Medical Laboratory Science at Marist University, with the hope of working as a lab technician at a hospital. She will also be pursuing a music minor, as well as the honors program and civic scholars program. She would like to say thank you again to all that have supported her during her journey and congratulations to her fellow classmates in the Class of 2026 for their amazing accomplishments and good luck in their future adventures.
