Merrimack High School Top 10 For 2026: Melody Roe, No. 3
Roe took several AP classes, participated in clubs and activities, and earned the Girl Scouts Gold Award. She will study English in college.

MERRIMACK, NH — Melody Roe is honored to be recognized as part of the Merrimack High School Top 10 for the Class of 2026.
Throughout high school, she took a well-rounded variety of AP and honors classes. Her favorites were AP Chemistry, AP Literature, AP Language, Honors Biology, and AP Spanish.
Melody was also a part of numerous clubs and extracurricular activities, such as the GSA, Creative Writing Club, and National Honor Society. As Secretary of NHS, she was able to have a role in organizing events such as the yearly leaf raking event for senior citizens, as well as starting a new tradition of hosting a Red Cross Blood Drive at the high school for both students and staff.

Melody’s proudest achievement is her participation in Girl Scouts Troop 13912. Through Girl Scouts, she was able to run numerous community events, such as the annual food scavenger hunt, participate in multiple community service opportunities, and make lifelong friends. Melody also completed her Gold Award project, partnering with the Merrimack Public Library to create a Story Walk at Veterans' Memorial Park.
More than anything, Melody would like to extend a special thank you to her parents and troop leader, who supported her academic rigor, her teachers, who pushed her to challenge herself, and her partner, who always listened. She would also like to congratulate all of her fellow graduates and wish them luck in the next chapter of their lives.

In the fall, Melody will further her education by studying English, hoping to enter the publishing field after college.
