Merrimack High School Top 10 For 2026: Molly Shepard, No. 2
The salutatorian of the Class of 2026, Shepard will be attending Northeastern University, pursuing a biology major on a pre-medical track.

MERRIMACK, NH — Molly Shepard is honored to be the salutatorian of Merrimack High School’s Class of 2026.
During her high school years, Molly took rigorous courses, including many AP, Honors, and Early College classes. Some of her favorite classes throughout high school were Honors Chemistry, AP Economics, AP Physics, and AP Spanish. She is proud and grateful to have received the English 11 Award at the MHS Junior Awards Ceremony.
In addition to her academics, Molly held multiple leadership positions, including president of the National Honor Society and president of the Science National Honor Society. As president of the National Honor Society, she helped organize two blood drives and a senior citizen dinner. She was also a member of the Interact Club, Yearbook, and the Math National Honor Society.

Molly was part of the field hockey team for all of her four years of high school. She earned the Coach’s Award freshman year and was a JV captain sophomore year. Outside of school, Molly has been a Girl Scout for 13 years. She enjoys staying connected with the community by volunteering at various town events.
Molly will be attending Northeastern University in the fall, pursuing a biology major on a pre-medical track. She is excited to take advantage of the opportunities that the city of Boston has to offer while she continues her education.

Molly would like to thank her parents, sister, teachers, friends, and coaches for supporting and encouraging her throughout her time in high school. She would like to congratulate all of her fellow graduates and wish them all the best in their future endeavors.
