Aubrie is honored to be recognized as a Top 10 student — expressing her gratitude to her parents and her brother, Peyton, and nana, too.

MERRIMACK, NH — Aubrie Connelly is honored to be recognized as a Top 10 student.
Throughout high school, she has challenged herself with rigorous coursework. Since her freshman year, Aubrie has elected to participate in many honors and AP courses. In addition to her classes at the high school, she simultaneously took online classes through the Virtual Learning Academy during her junior and senior years. She was awarded the Certificate of Academic Excellence in French and received first place in the high school for her website, that was entered into the National History Day competition.
Outside the classroom, Aubrie enjoys engaging in extracurricular activities and giving back to her community through outreach opportunities. During her junior and senior years, she has been a member of the National Honor Society and National Math Honor Society. During her time at Merrimack High School, she participated in various clubs and pursued numerous musical endeavors. In addition to her demanding course load and music schedule, Aubrie also works two part-time jobs.

Music has been a passion of Aubrie’s from a young age. She began playing the clarinet in fourth grade, and her love of music has since grown exponentially. During her high school career, Aubrie has been involved in marching and concert band. She has had the opportunity to perform in many ensembles and was awarded Musician of the Month at the music school where she takes private lessons. As an advanced musician, Aubrie has been selected into New Hampshire’s All-State band all four years and the All-State orchestra her senior year.
Additionally, she represented New Hampshire at the 2023 NAfME All-Eastern festival, where she played in the band along with other top musicians from ten states. She was selected as a MHS band officer during her sophomore, junior, and senior year and has served as librarian for the past two years. During her junior and senior years, Aubrie demonstrated her leadership skills as section leader and principal player of the clarinet section. Aubrie would like to thank her band directors, Miss Saranita, Mrs. Levine, and Mrs. Cunningham, and her private instructor, Dr. Karen Luttik, for igniting her passion for music and believing in her.

In the fall, Aubrie will be attending Gordon College, pursuing a degree in music education, with the aspiration of becoming a band director.
Aubrie would like to express her gratitude to her parents and her brother, Peyton, for their unwavering love, support, and encouragement. She would also like to dedicate this honor to her nana, who is forever in her heart.
