Merrimack High School Top 10: Megan Hanssen, No. 9

MERRIMACK, NH — Megan Hanssen is honored to be part of Merrimack’s graduating class of 2023, and the Top 10! She would like to thank her friends and family for their support and encouragement.

In high school, Megan enjoyed taking science, math, criminology, and psychology. Her passion for learning will continue in the fall as she is very excited to attend Quinnipiac University. She plans on majoring in biology and is a part of their accelerated molecular and cellular biology program. She is excited for the next chapter and looks forward to the opportunities the college offers.

Throughout high school, Megan has enjoyed being part of many extracurricular activities. When she isn’t at school, she can frequently be found at Broadway Bound Performing Arts Center, where she has danced on the competition team for several years. Megan loves dancing and is so grateful for all the experiences it has brought her.

Megan has been a Girl Scout for 13 years and has had great opportunities throughout the years. She has earned her Bronze and Silver Awards and is currently working on her Gold Award Project.

Megan has been involved in student council throughout high school and enjoyed being the secretary of the student council and the treasurer of the National Honor Society during her senior year. These clubs helped her grow her involvement in the community and her school.

Lastly, Megan would like to congratulate the Class of 2023 on their achievements and wish everyone luck in the future!
