Merrimack Library Holds Annual Poetry Contest
In its 11th year, poetry contest will feature 12 winners.

The Merrimack Public Library is accepting entries to its 11th annual Poetry Contest through March 16.
Anyone who writes poetry may submit up to three, original, previously unpublished poems. First, second, and third prizes will be awarded in each of three age categories – adult (age 19 and up), teen (13-18 years), and youth (up to age 12).
A special recognition for Merrimack residents will also be awarded in each age category. Winners will be announced and all participants will be given a chance to read their work at an Awards Night held at the Library on Tuesday, April 17, at 6:30 pm.

Complete rules and entry forms are available at the library's circulation desk and on the library's web site. The Merrimack Public Library is located at 470 Daniel Webster Highway in Merrimack.
