Merrimack Man Arrested on Numerous Vandalism Counts
Police: James Dionne allegedly threw a fit after an argument and damaged items inside a home on Maidstone Drive last night.

MERRIMACK, NH — A local man was arrested last night on four counts of criminal mischief after an alleged incident on Maidstone Drive last night, according to police. James F. Dionne, 40, of Maidstone Drive in Merrimack, was arrested on Sept. 6, 2016, after police were sent to the building for a report of an unwanted male subject on the property.

When the officers arrived, according to Lt. Matthew Tarleton of the Merrimack Police Department, they spoke with all the parties involved and reportedly learned that Dionne “had become upset after an argument and damaged a number of items within the home.” He was also allegedly intoxicated, according to police.

“(The incidents included) kicking-in a bedroom and pantry door, punching a bathroom window, and breaking a glass entertainment center in the living room area,” Tarleton alleged.
Dionne was arrested, processed, and released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail. He’s due in court on Oct. 6.
