Officers were sent to a local business for a driver who might be intoxicated. The business gave a description of the vehicle and officers went to look for the vehicle. An officer found the vehicle, observed an infraction, and pulled the vehicle over on the Daniel Webster Highway, according to Sgt. Kenneth MacLeod of the Merrimack Police Department.
“Upon further investigation by the officer, Ahern was showing signs of impairment due to the consumption of alcoholic beverages and was placed under arrest for OUIL,” according to MacLeod. “During the arrest, Ahern refused to comply with the officer’s instructions and was charged with two counts of resisting arrest.”
