Merrimack Man Charged with OUI

Nicholas Bissonette was arrested on Turkey Hill Road last week.

A local man is scheduled to be in court next month after being arrested for drunk driving.

Nicholas Bissonette, 24, of Nathan Hale Lane in Merrimack, was arrested on July 23, 2015, for operating under the influence of liquor.

Police, according to a report, stopped Bissonette at around 10 p.m. on Turkey Hill Road for a motor vehicle violation.

The officer alleged that Bissonette showed signs of impairment and after conducting an investigation, including a field sobriety test, he was arrested.

Bissonette is scheduled to be in Merrimack District Court on Aug. 6.

According to online reports, Bissonette was arrested in October 2010 for facilitating a drug/underage alcohol house party and unlawful possession of a controlled drug.
