Merrimack Man in Trouble Again

Police arrest Jason Trythall for identity theft.

A local man with a string of arrests during the last few years has been busted again, this time for identity theft and a privacy violation.

Jason Trythall, 31, of King Street in Merrimack, was arrested on Dec. 13, on two counts of identity fraud and a single count of violation of privacy.

According to police, at around 12:30 a.m. on Dec. 7, they received a complaint about a possible violation of a protective order claim. The protected party reported that someone had made fraudulent accounts on two social networking websites posing as the protected party.

“Based on this information, an investigation was conducted and Jason Trythall was identified as a suspect,” according to Sgt. Joseph Goodridge of the Merrimack Police Department.

On Dec. 8, police obtained a search warrant for Trythall’s cellphone and allegedly found enough information to issue an arrest warrant against him in the case.

Bedford Police arrested Trythall on the warrant on Dec. 13, at around 4:30 p.m. He was held without bail and was arraigned on Monday.

According to previous online arrest posts, Trythall has been arrested numerous times during the last four-plus years.

In February 2010, he was arrested and charged with domestic assault, kidnapping/false imprisonment, obstructing the reporting of a crime, according to the Cabinet.com. In December of that year, he was arrested for robbery and assault in Amherst.

In May 2012, according to Nashua Patch, he was arrested for domestic violence: stalking, a felony, after allegedly contacting a woman who had an active court order against him.

In October 2013, he was arrested on a warrant for nonpayment of a fine, according to the Nashua Police.

He was also arrested on stalking and resisting arrest charges in February of this year after allegedly violating a protective order. Police had to Tase him because he was reportedly resisting, according to a post on Merrimack Patch.
