Merrimack Needs Harley Hall for School Board

Please join me in supporting Harley Hall in his candidacy for the Merrimack School Board. Harley is a Merrimack parent and former district employee. He has experience as a classroom teacher and program administrator in our district. While Harley was employed in Merrimack, he was often the class advisor which gave him a strong connection with all students—including those he did not teach directly.

Before becoming an educator, Harley had a career in Law Enforcement and served in the Military. His adult life has been grounded in service to others, and this will serve the people of Merrimack well.

Most importantly, Harley is now an administrator in another district in NH—serving as an Assistant Principal. His finger is on the pulse of public education in his everyday career and provides the opportunity to offer perspectives from his district and others he works with in his professional circles. I think this can bring value to how the tax dollars are being spent and identify areas for economic efficiencies.

Having a member of our school board who has these attributes will be of great value as we have had aggressive staff turnover in recent years. We are also beginning next year with the top two positions (Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction) in the district as new hires. Having his internal knowledge from his experience in the Merrimack School District will be an invaluable advantage for our newest board member.

I look forward to casting my vote on April 14^th for Harley Hall and encourage my neighbors who are concerned taxpayers and parents to join me in doing the same.
