Merrimack Police: Man Arrested After Sexting

Merrimack police said Aaron Mattil, of Manchester, texted a sexual image of an individual without the individual's consent.

MERRIMACK, NH — Merrimack police on Wednesday announced officers arrested a 29-year-old man on charges he text a sexual photo of an individual without the individual's consent. Aaron Mattil, of Manchester, was charged with nonconsensual dissemination of private sexual images. He was released on $2,500 bail pending an arraignment July 5 in Hillsborough County Superior Court.

Merrimack police Lieutenant Eric Marquis said the individual filed a complaint with police June 5 and officers soon obtained a warrant for Mattil's arrest. He turned himself in Monday, according to Marquis. Mattil's charge is a felony.
