Merrimack Police: Please Show Patience at Paving Sites

The post requested that crews were working as hard as the could to get the job done.

“Honking your horn, throwing your hands in the air, or yelling at the officers will actually NOT make the traffic move faster,” the note stated. “The work needs to be done, we have put out ample notice and it will all be over at the end of the week.”

Police requested that drivers seek alternate routes, when possible, and allow more time during the commuting hours.

“If you cannot wait a few extra minutes, otherwise, turn up your radio and enjoy the ride, a few minutes alone in the car really isn’t a bad thing!,” according to the post.
