Merrimack Police Receive Donations For Special Response Equipment
Merrimack Police thanks those responsible for collecting $12,600 in donations for Special Response Team communication equipment.

MERRIMACK, NH — The Merrimack Police Department thanks Merrimack Crimeline, Merrimack Rotary, Merrimack Lions and Merrimack Lioness, who collectively donated $12,600 to purchase communication equipment for the Merrimack Police Department's Special Response Team. The communication equipment will help ensure reliable communications between the team members and the dispatch center during critical incidents.
The equipment will allow officers to utilize headsets and push-to-talk features to ensure their safety and the safety of others. Members from each group gathered with officers from the police department on Oct. 10 for a check presentation.
Merrimack Police said they are fortunate to have great support from the community and civic organizations. They credited the four groups worked together to accomplish the goal of outfitting the Special Response Team with the proper communication equipment. Merrimack Police thanks them for their continued support.
