Merrimack Republican State Rep. Files To Run For State Senate
Tim McGough, a 3-term Rep., signed up to run for the District 11 seat, representing Merrimack, Amherst, Milford, and Wilton on Thursday.

MERRIMACK, NH — Tim McGough, a three-term State Representative for Merrimack, announces his candidacy for the New Hampshire State Senate, District 11 (Merrimack, Amherst, Milford, and Wilton).
McGough aims to be the first state senator from Merrimack in more than 50 years.
“This vital growing community in the southern tier of the state has been underrepresented far too long,” he said. “Our community needs a leader who listens and works for the people and understands the unique concerns of citizens surrounded by highways, industry, and new housing construction.”

McGough promised to bring a people-first approach to the Senate.
“I will focus on protecting our borders, reducing living costs, and logical solutions to the problems of healthcare and housing,” said Rep. McGough.

McGough’s experience includes serving on the House Commerce and Resources Committees, the Long Term Drinking Water Commission, and the Healthcare Consumer Protection Commission. A resident of Merrimack for more than three decades, he has consistently championed policies that protect privacy and promote parental choice.
