Merrimack Resident Wins State Jr. Teen Title
Merrimack Middle School student moves on the national championship in Tampa, Fla. in July.

Merrimack resident, Brittney Wigdorski, received state recognition as she won the title of Miss New Hampshire Jr. Teen USA Ambassador on March 11 at the Portsmouth Sheraton Harborside Hotel.
The 12-year-old is a student at and enjoys being active in her community. She competed for the title because the organization is heavily involved with charitable organizations. Half of her winnings went to the Granite State Dog Recovery.

Brittney graduated from Belinda Bridgeman’s Pageant & Modeling Academy in the fall. She used the skills learned at the academy to compete in the areas of competition which included: Interview, Talent, Onstage Conversation and Fun Chat, U.S.A. Fashion Wear, and Evening Gown. For her talent, she performed a high energy baton routine to “Walking on Sunshine,” which was choreographed by her dance instructor, Belinda Bridgeman-Freeman.
Brittney is the daughter of Tracy and Scott Lurvey and Bob Wigdorski. She will represent New Hampshire in the national 2012 Miss USA Ambassador Pageant July 26-30 which will be held at the Innisbrook Golf & Spa Resort in Tampa, Fla., where she will compete with young women from across the country.
