Merrimack Returns to Three Voting Locations Sept. 13

MERRIMACK, NH — The town of Merrimack has decided to return to three voting locations, starting with the state primaries scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2016, according to the town clerk’s office. After the New Hampshire Primary traffic issues – which had voters waiting in lines for hours to vote and made national headlines – the town council and officials eyed the issue, and decided to expand voting locations. In 2012, the town had three polling locations for the primary, but then switched to a single location. Now, officials are switching back.
The locations are:
- James Mastricola Upper Elementary School, 26 Baboosic Lake Road.
- Merrimack Middle School, Madeline Bennett Lane.
- St. John Neumann Church, 708 Milford Road/101A.
Voters casting ballots at Mastricola include: All roads east of the FE Everett Turnpike from Bedford to Nashua town lines (along DWH); Bedford Road and all streets off of it except Chadsworth, Lawrence, and Bean; Joppa Road and all streets off of it; Valleyview Drive and neighboring streets; Wire Road and all streets off of it; Baboosic Lake Road 1-140 (to Patten); All roads off of Baboosic Lake Road from Daniel Webster Hwy to Turkey Hill Road split; Camp Sargent Road 1-64 and all neighboring roads; and Sherwood and all roads in the neighborhood of Buttonwood.

Voters casting ballots at the middle school include: Chadsworth Court; Lawrence Road; Bean Road and all streets off of it; Patten Road and all streets north and west of Patten Road; Baboosic Lake Road #’s 140-336; Turkey Hill Road and all streets off of it; Meetinghouse Road; Wilson Hill Road; Joellen Drive; and Cross Street.
Voters at St. John Neumann include: Amherst Road and all roads south of it to Continental Boulevard to Industrial Drive to FE Everett Turnpike south to the Nashua Line; Neighborhood of Savannah Way and Springfield Circle; Tomasian Drive and Lester Road; Piedmont Avenue and Davidson Avenue; Riverside Drive; and Tallant Road.
