Merrimack Rocks Needs Sponsors And Boosters

Merrimack Individuals and local businesses that serve Merrimack, as the clock continues to tick we are in need of some help with sponsorships.

Merrimack Rocks 2014 is an evening of live music, fireworks and tribute, celebrating Merrimack. This year there will be 3 Lifetime Achievement Awards given out - The Public Safety Lifetime Achievement Awards will be given to former Chief William Mulligan from the Police Department and former Chief Charles Hall from the Fire Department; we will also be giving out a lifetime achievement award to former Planning Board Chairman Nelson Disco. We will also give out the first annual Dave Yakuboff Helping Hand award which will be given to Dave’s family. Live music all evening, Large Climbing Wall, Bungee Trampolines, huge Police department and Fire department exhibits, Wally the Green Monster, McDonnys Petting Farm, Clydesdale and one of the largest fireworks displays in New England. Last year over 3500 citizens attended the event and we are expecting a lot more this year.

The event is being held on September 27th from 4PM to 8PM at Watson Park.

The event is authorized by the Merrimack Town Council and paid for entirely by local business and individuals. It is an event designed to celebrate Merrimack and give local citizens a great free outside event with entertainment for all ages at no cost to attendees.

We are seeking sponsorships ranging from $100.00 to 1000.00 and as the event looms near we are short of the monies needed to put on the event.

Understanding that cash flow is an important part of any business or individual we are seeking pledges which would be due by December 31, 2014.

It is a great evening to pay tribute to special Merrimack Citizens and enjoy the outdoors with friends and neighbors as the cold weather approaches.
