Merrimack Seeks Police Officer Candidates
Merrimack police are accepting applications for a full-time officer position.

MERRIMACK, NH —Merrimack has an opening for a full-time officer in the Merrimack Police Department. Certified full- or part-time officers are invited to apply.
Candidates must be a current full- or part-time officer and must be certified by the New Hampshire Standards and Training, or certified in the state where they are employed as an officer. The hiring process includes a physical agility exam and an oral board interview. Advanced candidates would be subject to an interview with the Merrimack chief of police prior to a conditional offer.
Following an offer, candidates would be required to pass a pre-employment physical and psychological exam, drug test, polygraph exam and a thorough background investigation. Lateral transfers may start at up to $30.36 based on their experience, education and skills.

Submit a cover letter, resume, and a Town Application to Town of Merrimack — HR, Attn: Sharon Marunicz, 6 Baboosic Lake Road, Merrimack, NH 03054, or by email to applications@merrimacknh.gov, no later than 4 p. m. on Nov. 15.
