Merrimack Shooting: Fourth Suspect Charged

Merrimack police said Brendan Mericantante, of Nashua, was arrested in connection with a shooting in May.

MERRIMACK, NH — Merrimack police this week announced another arrest in connection with a shooting in May. Brendan Mericantante, 19, of Nashua, was charged with conspiracy to commit robbery with a deadly weapon, two counts of hindering apprehension and falsifying evidence. He was released on $10,000 bond.

The shooting happened May 23 on Mill Street near the boat ramp. The victim is a 19-year-old who was hit in the torso and survived, police said. The alleged shooter, Jackson Crawford, 22, of Merrimack, was arrested and charged with attempted murder. Two others were charged with robbery.

After the shooting the group escaped in a vehicle driven by Mericantante, police said.
