The Town of Merrimack Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to announce that the Merrimack Skateboard Park will officially open for the 2014 skating season on Saturday, April 26th. If it is raining or the equipment is wet, the park will be closed for safety reasons. The use of safety equipment is strongly recommended. Per RSA 265:144X Bike Helmets are required for bicycle riders under 16 years of age and recommended for all.
The Skate Park season runs from April 26 through October 26, as weather permits. The Skate Park will be closed every Wednesday as well as on Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day. Hours of operation are as follows:
