Thomas was active exposing the PFAS chemical problem in Merrimack and recently was outspoken against ICE hosting a controversial immigrant detention warehouse in Merrimack to help speed up deportations. That plan was recently scrapped.

Thomas also recently published an opinion piece in the New Hampshire Union Leader that was critical of the Free State Project.
