Merrimack Student Makes President's List At Mississippi College
South Merrimack Christian Academy alumna Elizabeth Skirkey earned a 4.0 grade-point average during the 2019 spring semester.
MERRIMACK, NH – Elizabeth Skirkey of Merrimack has been named to the President’s List at Mississippi College. Skirkey, a South Merrimack Christian Academy alumna, was named after the spring 2019 semester at the college in Clinton, Miss.
To be eligible for the President's List, a student must maintain a 4.0 grade-point average, based on a 4.0 system. The student must take a full course load of at least 12 semester hours of undergraduate credit with all academic courses impacting their grade-point average.
Mississippi College, affiliated with the Mississippi Baptist Convention, is a private, co-educational, Christian university of liberal arts and sciences serving nearly 5,000 students, from 42 states, one U.S. territory, and 40 countries. Founded in 1826, Mississippi College is the oldest institution of higher learning in Mississippi, the largest private university in the state, and America's second oldest Baptist college.

Robert Sawdey, also of Merrimack, has begun his academic career at Tufts University.
The incoming undergraduates at Tufts reflect a selective admission trend that admits only 15 percent – or 3,404 out of 22,766 – of those who apply.
