Merrimack Summer Concert Series Begins June 6

Join the Merrimack Parks and Recreation Department for Wednesday night concerts at Abbie Griffin Park.

The Merrimack Parks and Recreation Department will kick off its Summer Concert Series on Wednesday, June 6, with a performance by “Figure 8,” a clean rock band the whole family will enjoy! Bring your family and friends to the 6 p.m. performance at Abbie Griffin Park, next to Town Hall at 6 Baboosic Lake Road, Merrimack. Experience a night filled with hand-clapping and foot-stomping music, in the spirit of wholesome fun!

Curly Jones will perform the second concert of the season on Wednesday, June 13, at 6 p.m. Enjoy his warm voice, lively personality, rich guitar and selection of songs ranging from the 1950’s to today!

All are invited to pack your dinner and picnic blanket and enjoy the Summer Concert Series throughout June, July and August. While most concerts will be held on Wednesday evenings from 6-8 p.m., there are two exceptions.Mark your calendar with the slightly later times as noted below for the Tuesday, July 3, and Thursday, Aug. 9, concerts. All concerts are open to the public with free admission! In the event of rain, the concert will relocate to the Merrimack High School’s Little Theatre.

Aug. 9 - 39th Army Band (Thursday from 7-9 p.m.)

Aug. 15 - East Bay Jazz Ensemble

Aug. 22 - Jumpin Juba

Aug. 29 - Random Acts of Harmony
