Merrimack Teen Arrested on Drug Charge

MERRIMACK, NH - A local woman is scheduled to be in court next month after being arrested on a drug charge last week by police.

Kathleen Summers, 19, of London Court in Merrimack, was arrested on Feb. 4, 2016, and charged with possession of a controlled drug.

An officer patrolling the area of Depot Street near the boat launch at around 12:30 a.m. observed a vehicle with two people inside, according to a report.

When the officer made contact with the individuals, the officer allegedly observed drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. Summers was also allegedly found with a small possession of marijuana, according to the report, and was arrested. She was released on personal recognizance bail and is due in court on March 17.
