Merrimack Teen Charged With Stealing Car
Police say Caitlyn Caron took car during test drive, but not before leaving a copy of her license with the dealership.

Nashua Police last week arrested a Merrimack teen who they say left a copy of her license with a Nashua car dealership before allegedly stealing the vehicle during a test drive in November.
Caitlyn Caron, 19, of 33 Meetinghouse Road, Merrimack, was arrested on a warrant on Friday, Jan. 11 at approximately 1:10 p.m. by members of the Nashua Police Department’s Uniform Operations Bureau. She was charged with theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, a class A felony.
Nashua Police Lt. Michael Moushegian said Caron went to a local car dealership on Nov. 18, 2012, to test drive a 2004 Volvo. She was out with an employee of the dealership, who pulled over to move to the passenger side and give Caron a chance to drive. Before the employee could get back into the car, Caron had slid over to the driver's side and taken off, leaving the employee behind.

Because Caron had given her driver's license information to the the dealership before the test drive, police were able to issue the arrest warrant.
