Merrimack U10 Tournament Team Takes State Title

Two game battle with Dover leads to the team winning.

The Merrimack U10 Tournament Team took the state title in a two game battle against Dover, according to a press statement.

Entering as the only undefeated team in the tournament, Merrimack lost the first game but battled back to win the second. The second game was won with impeccable defense, a home run by Aidan Ponder and pitcher Ayden Curren pitching a complete game/shut out.

The team went on to compete in the New England Regionals in Bridgton, Maine and placed third overall. They showed incredible maturity, stamina and sportsmanship. This group of players shows the true meaning of teamwork and determination.
