Merrimack Winter Carnival This Saturday Feb 21

Dear Friends of Merrimack Parks & Recreation

We are just 2 days away from the 23rd Annual Winter Carnival at Wasserman Park which will take place this Saturday, February 21st from 12 - 3 pm.

Listed below is the most up to date list of activities in the Park. All activities are free, but there will be a couple of organizations selling food if you are interested.

• Youth Ice Fishing Derby with Merrimack Lions Club
• Snowmobile rides with the Sno-Buds Snowmobile Club
• Snowshoeing courtesy of Eastern Mountain Sports of Nashua
• Cardboard Box Sledding Contest - We have 10 sleds entered into the race
• Snowman Building Competition with Girl Scout Troop 10623
• Outdoor Campfire with S’MORE Making
• Independent Karate School - Demonstrations from 1:30 - 2:00 pm
• Southern New Hampshire Flying Eagles - Model Aircraft Flying
• The Learning Experience - Information Table, Mascot & Raffle
• Merrimack Leo’s Club - Bake Sale
• Merrimack Friends & Families - Hot Dogs for sale
• Nature Walks Conservation Society - Guided nature walks

Weather on Saturday looks to be in the upper teens to low 20’s and so we encourage all participants to dress appropriately for the weather.
