“The responding officers attempted to make contact with the (woman), Jodi Ecklund, however she indicated to them she would not come out of the residence and had access to firearms inside the residence with her,” Roy alleged. “Ecklund had also indicated she would harm the officers with the firearms if they attempted to enter the residence.”

“Several attempts to contact Ecklund were unsuccessful,” Roy stated. “Officers were able to determine Ecklund had begun to barricade herself within the apartment.”
New Hampshire State Police and officers were able to eventually begin communicating with Ecklund – while also allegedly hearing her destroy items owned by the victim. After several hours, however, the containment team was able to arrest Ecklund.
Ecklund was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries and was later processed and held on $25,000 cash bail. She was arraigned on Feb. 7.
