Merrimack Woman Arrested for Drunk-Driving Twice in One Week

Police arrest Melissa Warrington on Maidstone Drive on March 19; they day before, she was arrested in Nashua.

A local woman will be in court next week after being arrested for drunk-driving last week, according to police.

Melissa Warrington, 48, of Wire Road in Merrimack, was arrested on March 19, 2015, on an operating under the influence of liquor charge. She was also arrested in Nashua for driving under the influence on March 18.

Police, around 2 p.m. on the day in question, were tipped off about an erratic motor vehicle in the area of Bedford Road near Joppa, according to a report.

When the officer arrived to the area, he was able to locate the vehicle involved on Patten Road and followed it. The officer alleged that the vehicle committed several motor vehicle infractions and was stopped on Maidstone Drive. The driver, Warrington, was allegedly impaired and arrested.

Warrington was later released on $1,500 personal recognizance bail and is due in court on March 31.
