A Messy Start to the Weather Week

Here is the latest Granite State weather forecast.

After a cool start to the month, AccuWeather.com is calling for a return of some nice, warm, late spring weather. But first, New Hampshire will have to get through some rain, including some possibly severe thunderstorms. The T-storms are expected at the beginning of the week and then, on Thursday.

The forecast

Sunny for the rest of the day today and nice weather into the evening with lows in the mid-50s with a slight chance of showers in the early morning hours.

Those showers are expected to continue into Monday and be heavy at times between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. On Monday night, expect a slight chance of rain starting around 11 p.m. and continuing into the morning.

The Tuesday rain is expected to end around lunchtime with temperatures rising up into the middle 80s. Showers could return in the evening though.

The sun is expected to return on Wednesday for most of the day with highs in the mid-to-upper-70s.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms return on Thursday with highs in the mid-70s.

On Friday, expect more sun and temps in the high 70s.

The weekend is also looking good, according to forecasters.
