MHS Boys Varsity Soccer Moves to Quarterfinals

2-1 victory over Dover sends boys to next round of tournament play versus Pinkerton Academy at the school's Derry campus on Sunday.

A pair of goals by senior Anders Dahl and junior Chris Lore gave the Merrimack High School Boys Varsity soccer team the edge it needed to beat Dover 2-1 on Friday afternoon.

The teams met in the first round of playoffs a day later than scheduled after rainy weather that led to an early October snowfall postponed the game.

Merrimack, which entered the tournament for the Division I Championship moves on to play Pinkerton Academy (3) at the school's Derry campus on Sunday, Oct. 30.
