
Merrimack High School has announced that boys varsity assistant soccer coach Ryan Farnsworth has been named the head boys varsity soccer coach.
Farnsworth, a math teacher at Merrimack High School, is a 2005 Merrimack High School graduate where he was a four-year letter winner on the boys soccer team, serving as a captain of the team his senior year. After high school Ryan attended Keene State College and played soccer for four years under coach Ron Butcher.
During this time Farnsworth began his coaching career as he coached at the Keene State Soccer Camps. As a player at KSC, Ryan was on a team that went to the NCAA tournament three years and won the Little East Conference during his sophomore year. Farnsworth brings to the Merrimack program strong leadership and motivational skills.

In Ryan's words, "Merrimack Soccer is a part of me and I am looking forward to giving back to the program that has helped shape my soccer career."
