Millionaire Marxist Linked To NH Elbit Attack Accused Of Funding Hamas
James "Fergie" Chambers is locked up in the Spanish prison where he's been held since his arrest at the state department's request.

The millionaire Marxist tied to the 2023 attack on an Israeli-owned business in New Hampshire allegedly wanted to be part of “global terrorism activities” when he gave money to the notorious terror group Hamas.
James “Fergie” Chambers, 41, is currently locked up in the Spanish prison where he’s been held since his arrest this summer at the request of the U.S. State Department. Details on why Chambers was wanted were scant until now, as The Free Press reports Chambers gave $7 million to Iranians in order to funnel it to Hamas.

Hamas terrorists murdered more than 1,000 Israelis and took more than 100 hostage during the horrific Oct. 7, 2023, attacks.
The Free Press obtained court records from Spain detailing the accusations leveled against Chambers that prompted the American government’s request that he be detained.

“During his stay in Tunisia, the requested person transferred large sums of money from the United States to Tunisia, while publicly expressing his support for the foreign terrorist organization, Hamas … Several of these transfers were made at approximately the time the requested person visited the Embassy of Iran in Tunisia,” The Free Press quotes from the court record. “The requested person’s associates remarked that Iranian officials were trying to obtain money from him and that his motivation was to be part of ‘global terrorism activities.’”
Within days of the Oct. 7 massacre, Chambers and his paid cohort of young Marxists were protesting against the Israeli government’s military response to the Hamas terror attacks. Chambers founded a communist compound in the Berkshires before he moved to New Hampshire to avoid paying income tax.
Many of his Berkshire comrades took part in the violent Palestine Action US protests against Israeli-owned Elbit Systems. The deep-pocketed Chambers helped found Palestine Action US, modeled after the original British Palestine Action, which has been deemed a terrorist organization in the United Kingdom.
The Elbit attackers include Calla Walsh, a progressive darling who is now a puppet of the Iranian regime; former Disney Channel star Bridget Shergalis; Paige Belanger; and Sophie Ross. Chambers paid the bail to get the four women out of jail after they were arrested. The women ended up taking a plea deal offered by New Hampshire Attorney General John Formella’s office that allowed them to get away with minimal jail time.
Court records in the Elbit case revealed that the FBI was investigating Chambers at the time of the 2024 prosecution. He left the country soon after that, landing in Tunisia, a North African country that does not have an extradition treaty with the United States.
Chambers converted to Islam while settling into his new desert home and married actress Stella Schnabel. But the couple made the error of summering in Ibiza, a Spanish holiday magnet for the wealthy. Spain does have an extradition treaty with the United States, and Chambers was soon behind bars. A Spanish judge recently ruled that Chambers won’t get bail pending an extradition decision, given his vast wealth and ability to flee the country.
Chambers is part of the Cox family, the uber-rich family behind Cox Enterprises, a telecommunications, media, and automotive services conglomerate. The former heroin addict took the family to court to cash out his inheritance early, netting an estimated $250 million.
Chambers has bounced from being a traditionalist Catholic convert to a pro-Putin progressive and now an allegedly Hamas-loving communist. Schnabel denies her husband was funding Hamas and instead claimed the money was going to charities to help Palestinian people.
“I think he’s being targeted because it’s very uncommon that you have someone coming from a very wealthy family giving money to the causes that he gives money to,” Schnabel told Spanish media.
