Mooney Announces Candidacy for State Representative in Merrimack

Former three-term State Representative and longtime Merrimack resident Maureen Mooney has announced her candidacy for State Representative.

Former three-term State Representative and longtime Merrimack resident Maureen Mooney has announced her candidacy to become one of the eight State Representatives representing Merrimack.

Maureen has been an active member of the Merrimack community for over two decades and will be campaigning on the principles of lower taxes/fees and individual liberty. The primary election is on September 8, 2020, and the general election is on November 3, 2020.

"Having served in the N.H. House for three terms, I know the importance of protecting New Hampshire as a place to live, work, do business and raise a family,” Mooney said. It's clear that the voters are looking for an effective, conscientious and fiscally responsible voice in Concord. I'm campaigning to be that voice for the people of Merrimack and respectfully ask for your vote."

Maureen Mooney served in the New Hampshire House of Representative for three terms from 2002-2008. During that time she was appointed an Assistant Republican Leader, and a member of both the Judiciary and Rules Committees.
