Anheuser-Busch holds an authentic German Oktoberfest Oct. 10.

Anheuser-Busch is bringing an authentic German Oktoberfest to the Merrimack Brewery on Saturday, Oct. 10. The day-long event, full of traditional Oktoberfest festivities, will feature two sessions to celebrate great beer, food and entertainment in a festive setting.
SATURDAY, OCT. 10, 2015
· Session 1: Noon – 4 p.m.

· Session 2: 6 – 10 p.m.
Oktoberfest will begin with a ceremonial tapping of the keg, performed by a brewmaster and local dignitary. Once the keg is tapped, guests 21 and over will have the opportunity to participate in a ceremonial toast.

Following the toast, visitors are invited to enjoy a variety of German-style beers, such as Spaten, Franziskaner and other seasonal favorites, paired with traditional German fare such as bratwursts, Bavarian pretzels and gingerbread cookies. Visitors can participate in traditional German games and enjoy German music and entertainment.
Tickets to Oktoberfest cost $30 and include a commemorative Oktoberfest stein, one food item and three beers. Guests 20 years old and younger can enjoy the event for free. Additional food and soft drinks will be available for purchase.
