MYA Wrestlers make good showing at Seacoast Tournament
Two wrestlers bring home the gold medal
The Merrimack Youth Wrestling Program sent eleven wrestlers to compete in the Seacoast Youth Wrestling Tournament held at Winnacunnet High School on January 31, 2016. Individual results were as follows:
First graders Collin Schuster and Kael McAloon both finished in second place with Schuster completing one pin on the day.
Second graders Cayden Dine and Jackson Meehan both took home first place medals with one and three pins respectively. Dine blew away his first two competitors with strong wins by points. Gryffen Gelinas, grade 2, took third place with two pins.

Ivey Johnson, grade 3, came in second place with two pins on the day.
Fourth grader Owen Forrest took fourth place with one win by pin and a very narrow loss by one point in his final match.

First graders, Benjamin Koudriashov and Rhys Dewar, fourth grader Mitchell Krupp and sixth grader Hunter Adams also competed in the tournament. Adams dominated his first opponent in a strong win by points.
