MYA Wrestling competes in the Granite YMCA 23rd Annual Holiday Wrestling Tournament

The Merrimack Youth Wrestling Program sent eleven wrestlers to compete in the Granite YMCA Holiday Wrestling Tournament held at Bow High School in Bow, NH, December 20, 2015.  Individual results were as follows:

Second graders Jackson Meehan and Cayden Dine finished in first and second place, respectively competing against each other in a nail-biter championship match.

Kael McAloon, grade 1, had two pins on the day taking home first place medal.

Owen Forrest, grade 4, fell in his first match but rallied back with three wins in a row by pin to take third.

Benjamin Koudriashov, grade 1, competed strongly in his first tournament taking fourth place on the podium.

First graders, Collin Schuster and Rhys Dewar, second grader Gryffen Gelinas, third grader Ivey Johnson, fourth grader Mitchell Krupp and sixth grader Hunter Adams also competed strongly in the tournament.
