Nashua Catholic Regional Jr. High Appoints Colby-Sawyer Graduate as New Athletic Director

Nashua Catholic Regional Junior High School welcomes Ryan Farris as Athletic Director.

Mr. Farris is a graduate of Colby-Sawyer College where he majored in sport management. In addition to his responsibilities at Nashua Catholic, Mr. Farris is pursuing a Masters in Athletic Administration at Southern New Hampshire University.

Mr. Farris is a life-long resident of Nashua and played varsity sports at both Nashua High School South, and Colby-Sawyer College. Mr. Farris was involved in player and coach development through his work at Colby-Sawyer College, while creating and serving as the president for the Men’s Lacrosse Team. Mr. Farris has extensive experience in coaching student athletes and has coached both middle and high school students in the City of Nashua’s Babe Ruth Baseball League. Along with coaching experience, Mr. Farris has completed an internship with the NHIAA, and has played a key role in the research behind implementing Unified Sports in high schools across the state. Lastly, Mr. Farris was the inaugural public address announcer and statistician for the Nashua Silver Knights collegiate baseball team.

“I have a deep passion for sports and working with and developing student athletes through strong core values of respect and discipline,” Mr. Farris said. “I am excited about the tradition at Nashua Catholic Regional Junior High School, the continued growth, and the opportunity to be a part of it now and in the future.”

Nashua Catholic is located at 6 Bartlett Avenue in Nashua, NH and is dedicated to providing outstanding education to 7th and 8th graders based on a solid curriculum rooted in the Catholic faith. Nashua Catholic has a proud tradition of competitive sports and is part of the Tri-County League. Nashua Catholic athletes compete in over 14 sports in all three seasons and many of our students go on to play at the high school or collegiate level.

His experience with secondary and collegiate athletics is invaluable to our students and his enthusiasm for excellence will expand upon Nashua Catholic’s strong athletic tradition.
