Nashua Man Allegedly Strikes Another in the Face at Cinemagic

Merrimack Police arrested Jeffrey Noel after he allegedly caused a facial injury to another man after he brushed shoulders with him.

MERRIMACK, NH — A trip to Cinemagic in Merrimack turned into a facial injury for one man and an arrest and court date for another after an alleged simple assault incident last month, according to police. Jeffrey D. Noel, 27, of Iroquois Drive in Nashua, was arrested on May 8, 2017, for simple assault. Back on April 20, police were sent to the Cinemagic movie theatre for a report of an assault, according to Lt. Matthew Tarleton of the Merrimack Police Department.

“Upon the officers' arrival, they made contact with the parties involved, one of which was identified as Jeffrey D. Noel,” he alleged. "Upon questioning those involved and witnesses, it was learned that another patron had been struck in the face by Noel after brushing shoulders with him inside the theater.”

The victim reportedly sustained a facial injury as a result of the attack, Tarleton stated. After investigating the incident further, a warrant was drafted for Noel's arrest and he surrendered to police today.

Noel was processed and released on personal recognizance bail. He is due in court on June 8.

According to previous posts on Patch, Noel was arrested in November 2016, and charged with assault in Nashua. In June 2012, he was arrested in Nashua for disorderly conduct. Later that year, in October 2012, he was arrested for criminal threatening, disorderly conduct, and attempt to commit simple assault in Nashua.
