Nashua Man Arrested After Motor Vehicle Stop

Merrimack Police: Ryan Gravelle faces drug charges after Currier Road infraction incident.

A local man was arrested earlier this week after a traffic stop on Currier Road in Merrimack, according to police.

Ryan Gravelle, 34, of Atherton Avenue in Nashua, was arrested on June 16, 2015, and charged with possession of drugs and transportation of drugs.

According to police, at around 3:30 p.m., an officer stopped Gravelle for a motor vehicle infraction on Currier Road.

“Upon speaking with the above operator (Gravelle) the officers made observations of possible drug use in the vehicle,” stated Sgt. Joseph Goodridge of the Merrimack Police Department. “Upon further investigation, Gravelle was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and was taken into custody.”

Gravelle was released on personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to be in Merrimack District Court on June 25.
