Nashua Man Charged in Merrimack Robbery, Assault
Police say man threw woman to ground, stole her money.

Merrimack Police have arrested a man they say assaulted and robbed at woman at a local apartment complex on Wednesday, April 4.
Police arrested Emmanuel Lopez-Ortiz, 23 of 20 Linden St., Apt. 2, Nashua, on Thursday, April 5, after he turned himself in on a warrant charging him with robbery and simple assault.
The warrant stemmed from an investigation that began the night before, when Merrimack Police responded to the Commons apartment/condominium complex for the report of a robbery, according to a press release.

Upon arrival, police found a woman who said a man threw her to the ground and stole her money.
Ortiz was held overnight on $5,000 cash bail and went before a judge in Merrimack's District Court on Friday morning.
