New Boston Woman Arrested on Driving Charges
Merrimack Police stopped Nicole Rowan after an alleged red light violation on Route 101A.

MERRIMACK, NH — A New Hampshire woman is due in court next month after being stopped in Merrimack on numerous driving violations, according to police. Nicole Rowan, 47, of Mont Vernon Road in New Boston, was arrested on Dec. 14, 2016, for operating after suspension, operating with suspended registrations, and operating without proof of financial responsibility.

Police stopped Rowan at just before 2 a.m. on Route 101A after an alleged red light violation, according to Sgt. Cassell of the Merrimack Police Department.

“The driver was identified as Rowan,” Cassell noted. “Upon conducting a license check, the officer discovered that Rowan’s driver license and motor vehicle registrations were suspended, and that she was required to provide proof of financial responsibility. The suspensions stem from a default of a court summons.”
Rowan was arrested, transported to police headquarters, processed, and released on personal recognizance bail. She’s due in court on Jan. 19, 2016.
