NH Candidates Meet with Business Leaders in Merrimack

The Merrimack Chamber of Commerce hosts coffee with gubernatorial, Congressional, and legislative candidates in August.

MERRIMACK, NH — The Merrimack Chamber of Commerce is hosting four events on Tuesdays in August where business leaders can meet with gubernatorial, Congressional, and legislative candidates before the September Democrat and Republican primaries. The events will be held at 7:30 a.m. at the Chamber's office, 4 John Tyler Street, Unit H, in Merrimack.

So far, according to a press statement, a number of Democrat, independent, and Republican candidates have agreed to participate.

On Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2016, Derek Dextrose and Steve Marchand, both Democrats running for governor, will participate. Registration link.

On Aug. 16, Michael Callis, a Republican candidate for U.S. Congress, Chris Sununu, a Republican gubernatorial candidate, as well as Republican state Rep. candidates John "Jack" Balcom, Bob L'Heureux, and Tony Pellegrino, will all be in attendance. Registration link.

Rich Ashooh, a Republican candidate for U.S. Congress, and Ted Gatsas, a Republican running for governor, along with Dick Barry and Chris Christensen, GOP state Representative candidates will be at the Aug. 23, event. Registration link.

On Aug. 30, Max Abramson, a Republican state Representative running for governor as a Libertarian, and independent Jilletta Jarvis, will be meeting with members. Registration link.

Organizers of the event note that chamber members must pre-register since there are only 50 spaces available for each event (members can register for each event at the links above). Tickets are $5 for members; $10 for non-members. Non-members and the general public will be allowed to register for any remaining spaces on Aug. 4, according to organizers.
